The first picture is of tn MAPP support group that Yema Mentors. Meru Association of "Positive" People. They make and sell necklaces to earn money for the group. We bought most of them!

Each group greeted us with song and beautiful African hospitality!!!!

Mary is one of the many beautiful HIV positive people. Her smile speaks for the love she shares and knows through Christ!

Purity is holding "some" of the necklaces we bought!! It was a beautiful, happy day indeed. I yearn to go back.

Gladys is also a member of the support group, she was proud to have me take her picture and know her name. Her picture hangs in my kitchen. God bless Gladys and all these beautiful, strong, courageous women of Meru.

Please keep praying for Kenya,
Laury

We are glad to hear testimony that you were able to "cross barriers of race,wealth,backgrounds..." between yourselves and the Christians in Meru area. I heard about another VIM trip to another place, and the focus was on their diarhrea, their discomfort of the potholes, the shock of having their expectations changed..Praise God for you all and your ability to communicate your spiritual journeys.
